Family Vacations

Lewis has never been on any family vacations before. He is six years old and has been living in an orphanage until recently. Lewis has been adopted by a wonderful family. His foster parents are so kind and loving while his foster sister is just perfect.

When his new family asked him about where he wanted to go for the summer, he was stumped. He didn’t know what families do on vacations. Sure, he’d heard stories but he never had any experience. His older sister suggested that maybe he wanted to go to the beach or maybe even go hiking. His parents also thought that he might like to go to a theme park. Lewis felt silent. He wanted to tell them that he had never done any of those things they suggested but he was too shy. Suddenly his mom hugged him and told him to go to sleep. They would just surprise him on where they would go for Lewis’ first family vacation.

A few weeks later, Lewis and his family are in Paris enjoying EuroDisney. It was Lewis’ first time for everything- airplane ride, new country, and visit in a theme park.

That was the very first among the many of Lewis’ family vacations experiences and he would never forget it.
