Dave’s Proposal Dinner
Dave is finally proposing to his long time girlfriend, Annie. They have been together for almost ten years. And now, Dave is ready to take the next step.
He is going to surprise Annie with a special dinner that he himself will cook. Dave already has a menu in mind that consists of Annie’s favourite dishes. He is going to prepare a lovely pasta dish and some lobsters that Annie will surely love.
Annie is due to arrive at Dave’s apartment at 7pm and he still has a lot to do. After breakfast, Dave has cleaned his apartment and took out his expensive china and best wine glasses to use for their dinner. Then Dave went out to do some grocery shopping. He needs to buy some wine and the various ingredients he needs for their romantic meal. He also bought some lovely flowers to give to Annie and to decorate his apartment. He double checked the engagement ring that he carried around in his pocket and blew out a sigh.
By 7pm, Dave’s doorbell rang. It was Annie and just in time. Dave just finished preparing their meal. After dinner and over dessert, Dave took out the ring and proposed. Annie cried and answered “Yes!” to David.
