Neil and Toni

Neil and Toni have been married for only a year but they have been together for more than ten years. They have a lot of things in common but they are complete opposites still. Neil and Toni were born on the same year, lived on the same street when they were kids and both liked eating pizzas.

Neil loves to go riding on a motorcycle while Toni abhors it for the wind ruins her hair. Toni loves to go out dancing while Neil prefers to stay at home and watch TV. For all the differences that this couple have, Neil and Toni have always managed to sync. In times of disagreements, arguments and fights, Neil and Toni see to it that they listen to each other. Voicing out opinions and suggestions are the secret to their lasting relationship.

Neil and Toni love to share ideas together. Just this morning, they were exchanging different kitchen lighting ideas and how to go about them. After that, they also talked about what kitchen appliance they should buy since the couple wanted to remodel their kitchen and upgrade their appliances as well.

Neil and Toni will have a long and happy marriage together, I am sure of it.

Wants and Desires

Different people have different wants and desires. Even closest friends and siblings with lots of things in common may want entirely different things.

One person might want a ridiculously expensive and fast car with shiny red paint white another might want one but in black. The man down the street might just desire a delicious hot meal to satisfy his rumbling stomach while the woman sitting outside the library steps would love nothing better than to be able to buy herself a vast collection of books.

No matter how petty, a person’s wants and desires for things give him drive. It is the force that makes them work harder to achieve that specific want or desire.

It is important to start small and begin there. A person who wants to have his own outdoor fireplace would definitely start from looking over an outdoor fireplace plan just like the person who wants to have a clean room should start sweeping the floor.

Also, hard work and perseverance always pays off. It is never a good idea to trample on anyone’s toes just to get what you want. It is more satisfying to achieve something with your own sweat, blood and tears.

Leo’s Boss

Leo has been working in his present company for less than a year. He absolutely loves his job as well as his co-workers. He has great rapport with them especially with his boss.

Mr. Kraftner is Leo’s boss. He is a robust man in his 60’s with thick, white hair. Mr. Kraftner is active and outdoorsy. In fact, he even went white water rafting last week. He had lots of photos to show proof of his latest exciting adventure experience. Leo likes working with Mr. Kraftner because he is a intelligent man with great ideas and perspective. But what makes Leo respect Mr. Kraftner even more is the fact that his boss reciprocates the respect and trust he is given to all his employees regardless of their position.

Leo has had the wonderful opportunity to be a guest in Mr. Kraftner’s house one day. It has his boss’ son’s birthday. When Leo stepped into his boss’ house, he was entertained by the numerous pictures of Mr. Kraftner’s family. There was one large picture frame of Mr. Krafter’s family on the wall as well as several other smaller picture frames.

Mr. Kraftner is definitely an extraordinary man. And Leo is glad that he has known Mr. Kraftner.

The Internet

The world wide web or the internet has come a long way. Nowadays, people can’t live without it. A simple click will provide any information one needs instantly. Searching for an antique item? No, sweat. There are lots of websites about antique items such as china, sewing machines and a whole lot more.

If you are feeling a bit artistic and looking for several cake decorating ideas, you can easily find it in seconds. There are countless sites that offer tutorials on how to decorate cakes. Finding a missed loved one or friend gets easier every day as there are numerous social networking sites sprouting like wild mushrooms. You just join these sites and began searching.

The internet is a complicated system that only those with technical abilities can understand. For regular people, it is a gem of ideas, information and so much more. Personally, I can’t imagine my life without the internet. I get my daily dose of news, gossip and other information from it to keep me updated. The internet also helps me stay connected with my friends and family all over the world. It allows me to share my experiences through pictures, videos and movies. The internet is a part of my life as well as in others.

What Do I Want to Eat?

I am not that hungry but I do want to eat right now.

I want to eat a huge, juicy hamburger with tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. But wouldn’t a bowlful of homemade ice cream taste even better? Well, it does. But a huge chocolate bar does too.

I am also craving for authentic Italian pasta with pomodoro sauce with steamed asparagus on the side. That freshly baked croissant from the baker across the street taste great too. Now, I’m getting confused and hungrier by the minute.

What do you think about a large slice of thin crust pepperoni pizza or a steaming hot calzone? But I think I would love to eat something exotic like spicy Indian food. Or how about Mexican food, that would taste really delicious. Just thinking about tacos, nachos and burritos makes my stomach growl. Just the other day, I had a wonderful meal of beef burritos with a large glass of iced tea. I immensely enjoyed it. What else would I want to eat? A fat hotdog with pickle relish and mustard would be wonderful but I think macaroni and cheese would definitely hit the spot.

Oh well, I think I’ll check out the refrigerator just to be sure.

Ana’s Problems

Ana is problematic. She still has a million things to do before she moves into her new apartment. Ana will be finally moving out of her parents’ house and into her new quaint apartment in the city, which is just a short ride away from her workplace. Before Ana can officially move in into her new place, she needs to purchase some stuff she would need for her new home including bed sheets, curtains, towels and toilet papers. Yes, toilet paper.

Ana also needs to find really sensible shoe storage solutions. Since her place is kind of small, Ana needs to be really organized and tidy. On top of that, Ana needs to have her air conditioner installed as well as her telephone line put in. Ana is really excited about living alone. Though she hates leaving her parents by themselves, she really wanted to start living independently.

On the day of her moving in, Ana’s parents accompanied her into her new apartment. They even bought Chinese take-out and wine to celebrate. Ana will miss her parents terribly but she knows that she can just easily visit them or contact them through the telephone. Ana can’t wait to give a proper housewarming party.
