Annie is scared of makeup. She hates applying them herself and she doesn’t want anyone to apply makeup for her. Annie is pretty in her own way but a bit of makeup will surely lighten her face up.
Annie’s fright for makeup started when she was thirteen. She received a mini makeup kit from her Aunt residing in New York. The mini makeup kit had sparkly makeup ranging from very pink blush to bright red lipstick. That day Annie was so proud of herself that she was able to apply makeup all by herself. She didn’t even need to ask any help from her Mom. Annie felt more beautiful than ever. But as soon as she reached her school, all of the kids laughed at her and called her names. It turns out her makeup was so thick and unflattering on her that she looked liked a clown. After that, she never ever tried to learn how to apply makeup at all.
One day, Annie decided to face her fears. She bought inexpensive but subdued hues of makeup and experimented with various looks. She watched a lot of “how-to” makeup videos and read books on makeup application. With everyday practice, Annie finally transformed her face successfully with makeup. She now looked lovely compared to her dull look without makeup.

Have you ever seen one of those blackberry things up close, I mean good Lord, they got buttons for the buttons, and gadgets for the gadgets. I just had friend of mine buy a used cell phone, and it is really fun. There really just tiny little hand held computers. They have virtually all the same capabilities, and at least as many options to choose. Remember when they used to say don’t leave home without it. Now it’s not a credit card, it’s a mobile phone.
If you have children, you understand how a parent can feel when it comes to wanting to give them everything, but not spoiling them at the same time. We just had to buy used laptop computers the other day, and it wasn’t an easy thing to decide. These new technologies, and gadgets of every kind, are coming out faster than I can keep up. I mean you have iPods, mac, PC, Windows, wi-fi, interfacing, mobile tech’s, and that is not to mention the cell phones at all.

I recently opened my own business in our neighborhood. I put up my own advertising company which I worked hard for. While setting up this business is one big challenge for me, I found out that designing my home office is actually harder. I needed to build an office that looks very professional but still looked like a home. I really hired an architect that will give me what I wanted. I had all my plans ready but still thought that there was something lacking. I wanted to make my backyard look relaxing.
I searched online and looked for landscape architects. There are so many and I couldn’t decide on which one. I came across the website of North Texas landscapers, the premier design architects of landscape in Dallas. Looking at their website gave me an impression that they are professionals. I immediately hired them to do this. I was surprise that they do not only design landscapes but also ensure that it is kept beautiful all the time. They offer installation, remodeling, irrigation services and maintenance services. There is no other company that will give you this much. If you want the best for your homes and offices, you can only trust this company to give you the best when it comes to landscaping.

My mom always said that the most important part of a person’s life is his health. Ever since I was young, she has taught me different ways of taking care of my health. Now that I am already an adult, I make sure that my health is at its best. I never miss a doctor’s appointment so that I will be able to monitor my health. This is not enough for me so I decided that I wanted to get an individual medical insurance plan. Things can get unpredictable which is why I have to be ready at all times. I will never know when things may go the wrong way.
You may be thinking that insurance is very expensive. I’ve already thought about this before and I decided that a medical insurance is definitely worth what I am paying for. When it comes to my health, I will do everything to ensure that I am healthy. Thinking about it, the insurance will be very helpful in the future. If you have any expenses or medication that you need to spend for, your insurance policy will cover for it. If you are having second thoughts, your medical insurance is worth all the money that you pay for. Enjoy a healthy life with your own medical insurance.

Too err is human, so the saying goes and it certainly hold true in hospitals. While the staff on doctors no doubt have received extensive training, fatigue, carelessness and personal problems can lead to mistakes that could directly affect you or your loved ones. After all, how often do you make a mistake at your work? While it’s true for most of us that making a mistake won’t affect the life of another person, whey you are dealing with surgeries, injectibles and other hazards materials, a slip up could mean a seriously potential problem.
Hospitals need to take more responsibility by implementing strict protocols and reporting systems that help alleviate mistakes that could of otherwise been prevented. The drawback to this is of course the ever increasing cost of healthcare and the effect it will have on it. Never mind that though, no price can be put on a human life. Even with these new procedures in place, accidents can still happen. Check your insurance policy and get additional coverage if necessary to cover yourself from these types of situations. If the need ever arises, you won’t be sorry you did.

Harry Potter was first created by J.K Rowling in her numerous novels before it became a worldwide blockbuster movie. Harry is a wizard known to have a lightning shaped scar in his forehead which he got from his nemesis, Voldemort.
I have all the Harry Potter hardbound books as well as all the DVD movies released. I’ve read and watched Harry Potter several times but have never grown tired of it. I love how the author created him with all his flaws, insecurities and power. Harry Potter’s friend’s Ron Weasly and Hermione Granger are my favourites too.
There are seven Harry Potter books and these are Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order Of Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince and the Deathly Hollows. There’s even a post Harry Potter book entitled The Tales of Beedle the Bard. This is the book Dumbledore gave Hermione when he passed away.
I can’t wait for the next Harry Potter movie, The Half-Blood Prince, to be released. Though nothing beats reading the book itself, it is really wonderful to see what you read come alive. I was sad that the Harry Potter series has ended. But I am just so thankful that J.K. Rowling made the powerful wizard boy come alive.

Gwen loves her grandfather’s gold pocket watch. When she was small, she used to play with its long chain. Gwen would constantly open the latch to look at the beautiful and ornate carving found inside the cover.
Gwen’s grandfather first taught her how to tell the time with his gold pocket watch. He would often ask Gwen of the time whenever she would play with his watch.
When her grandfather passed away, Gwen was surprised and so happy that her grandfather decided to leave her the gold pocket watch. She really loved it and she would sorely miss him. It was weird the first time she held it that it wasn’t attached to her grandfather’s belt.
Now, Gwen owns over twenty pocket watches, both in gold and silver. She often finds her treasures in various antique shops and different online stores. Some friends who know of her collection give her pocket watches in several occasions as well. She hopes to add some more pocket watches soon.
Most of Gwen’s pocket watches in her collection are classic and old. But the most priceless one she has in her entire collection is her grandfather’s very own gold pocket watch. She would treasure it forever and ever.

Children nowadays don’t go out to play. They are often seen forming a hole in couches and chairs playing the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PSP or other video games. They are also hooked to their computers and the internet.
I remember when I was little, we never had those fancy video games or a computer. We resorted to playing with whatever we can use. Childhood games of the past require the use of imagination, smarts, and energy.
My favourite plaything was cardboard boxes. I would ask my parents and neighbours if they had any to spare. I would then stay inside the box and play make-believe all day. My favourite make-believe story was the time I pretended I was inside a rocket ship. I would wear a small pail over my head pretending that I was a space helmet. Then, I pretended to manuever my rocket ship to take me to the moon. From my window, I could see the meteors, stars and planets.
I also love playing hopscotch when I was a kid. I like drawing the pattern on our driving way and adding numbers on the boxes using chalk. Hopping up and down the pattern never ceases to make me so happy.
